Built from a client-designed landing page and expanded into a fully responsive portfolio website. Enhanced with custom functionality and WordPress integration, giving the client an easy way to manage and update their content.
The project frontend was initially developed using the WordPress REST API. While this provided a flexible frontend architecture, it introduced additional complexity for content management and accurately reproducing WordPress functionality.
As the project evolved, the website was migrated to run directly within the WordPress ecosystem. This simplified the publishing workflow, made it easier to create and accurately preview posts using WordPress's native features, and reduced the need for ongoing maintenance, all while managing to keep all of the original design and functionality.
